Add your CR Servers email in Outlook

Use IMAP with SSL. Replace YOURDOMAIN.com with your domain in the address. For the servers, use mail.crservers.com; you may use mail.YOURDOMAIN.com only if CR Servers has confirmed it (see IMAP/POP3 settings).

Common settings

• Email / username: you@YOURDOMAIN.com
• Password: mailbox password (not your hosting control panel password)
• Incoming: mail.crservers.com, port 993, SSL/TLS
• Outgoing SMTP: mail.crservers.com, port 465 (SSL/TLS) or 587 (STARTTLS)
• Outgoing authentication: required, same username and password
• Authentication method: normal password. Leave Secure Password Authentication (SPA) unchecked where Outlook offers it.

Classic Outlook for Windows

1. File → Add Account.
2. Enter your address, open Advanced options, tick Let me set up my account manually, and choose IMAP.
3. Enter the servers and ports above, then the mailbox password.
4. Finish, and run the test below.

New Outlook for Windows

1. Settings → Accounts → Your accounts → Add account.
2. Enter your address; if it isn't set up automatically, choose IMAP.
3. Open the advanced settings and enter the servers and ports above.
4. Finish, and run the test below.

Outlook for Mac

1. Outlook → Settings → Accounts → + → New Account.
2. Enter your address and password; choose IMAP if automatic setup fails.
3. Set the incoming and outgoing servers and ports as above.

Mobile (Outlook app)

1. Add account → Email account.
2. Enter your address and password.
3. If setup fails, choose advanced / IMAP and enter the servers manually.

Test it

Send a message to an address outside your domain (for example a personal Gmail) and reply to it. If both arrive, sending and receiving work.
