How AI Connect Works

Three steps. No shared passwords, no copying and pasting code.

Connect your assistant

Add CR Servers AI Connect from Claude's connector directory (ChatGPT coming soon) and sign in with your client area account. Your password never goes to the AI.

Ask and preview

Describe the change. The assistant prepares a draft and gives you a private preview link. Your live site doesn’t change yet.

Publish or undo

The assistant publishes only after you confirm. Say “undo the last change” and the site goes back to how it was.

What the Assistant Can and Can’t Do

It works on the sites you choose, within limits you control.

Only the sites you choose

When you connect, tick the sites it can work on: your main domain, additional domains or subdomains. It can't touch the rest.

No email, DNS or billing

It can’t see or change your email, DNS, databases, SSL certificates or billing.

File-based sites

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts and PDFs. No PHP or server-side code, no .htaccess.

You stay in control

See connected assistants in the client area and remove their access at any time. Every change is logged.

Undo, Backups and Restore

One-step undo

Before each publish, AI Connect saves the previous version of every file it changes.
Undo any of the last 5 publishes by asking the assistant.
It won’t publish over files someone changed by FTP in the meantime.

Your hosting backups

Your plan’s automatic backups also cover your site: daily backups of your account structure plus full weekly data backups, kept off-server.
Restore files, databases or the whole account from the control panel.
Before a big change, also make a manual backup.

Yes. When you connect, tick every site the assistant should work on, even across different hosting services. In the client area, AI Connect lists all your sites.

Each one is its own site: additional domains and subdomains such as dev.yoursite.com. Tick the ones you want when connecting. Through the main site, the assistant won't change a subdomain's folder.

No. You sign in to the CR Servers client area, and the assistant gets limited access to the sites you choose.

No. It only works with the files of the site you chose. Email, DNS, databases, SSL and billing are out of its reach.

Not yet. AI Connect works with file-based sites (HTML, CSS, images). If your site runs WordPress, contact us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Ask the assistant to “undo the last change.” Your hosting also keeps automatic backups.

AI publishing pauses. You can still see connections and remove access in the client area; connecting a new assistant needs an active service.
