How CR Servers spam filtering works
Overview of inbound spam filtering on CR Servers shared hosting mail and what you can do if mail is missed or blocked.
CR Servers filters inbound mail on shared hosting to reduce spam and malware before it reaches your mailbox.
What filtering does
- Checks reputation and content signals on incoming messages.
- Quarantines or rejects obvious spam and dangerous attachments according to server policy.
- Works together with authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) so legitimate mail from your domain is easier for others to trust.
If legitimate mail is missing
- Check Spam / junk folders in your mail client and webmail.
- Confirm MX records point to CR Servers for that domain.
- Ask the sender for headers or a sample message ID.
- Open a ticket with the sender address and approximate time.
If your outbound mail lands in spam
Publish correct SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, use a consistent From domain, and avoid purchased mailing lists.
Exact quarantine UI labels can vary by control panel version — when in doubt, describe the symptom in a ticket and we will walk you through it.
