Access your VPS with SSH
Connect to your CR Servers VPS over SSH with the IP, username, and key or password from your welcome details.
VPS plans include SSH access so you manage the operating system yourself (or with our guidance).
Basics
- Find the public IP and SSH user in the client area / welcome email.
- On macOS or Linux:
ssh user@YOUR.IP.ADDRESS - On Windows: use Windows Terminal, or PuTTY with the same IP and user.
- Prefer SSH keys over passwords when possible.
If login fails after a rebuild, confirm the IP did not change and that your key was re-installed. Open a ticket for console or network checks.
