Data Deletion Instructions
These instructions explain how to delete your CR Servers client portal account and personal data, including data linked to Facebook Login (“CR Servers Login”).
1. What data this covers
CR Servers stores account, billing, and service data in the client portal. If you use Facebook Login, Facebook may also share limited identifiers so we can associate your Facebook account with your portal account.
Facebook may provide an app-scoped user ID (and related login identifiers) so CR Servers can link the Facebook Login session to your portal account.
Account, billing, and service data for your hosting and related products are stored and managed by CR Servers in our systems—not on Facebook.
We do not receive your Facebook password. Facebook Login is an authentication option for the client portal; it does not move your hosting content into Facebook.
2. Preferred: delete your account in the client portal
If you can sign in to the client portal, start from Account → Overview (account summary). When account deletion is available for your profile, use the delete-account control (often labeled “Delete my account” / “forget my data”).
Sign in at clients.crservers.com and open Account → Overview.
Review the account summary. You may download a JSON copy of the overview data from that page before continuing.
Choose delete account / forget my data, then confirm on the next screen. After confirmation you are logged out and the account enters a pending-removal state.
Self-serve deletion typically requires that you have no unpaid invoices. Active services or domains that cannot be cancelled automatically may block the request until those items are resolved with support.
If you do not see the delete-account option, cannot complete confirmation, or need help closing services first, use the support channels in section 3. Staff can process deletion through the HostBill client portal tools on your behalf after identity verification.
3. Request deletion through support
Use any of the following channels when self-serve deletion is unavailable or you need help. Include the email address registered on your CR Servers account and use the subject “Data deletion / Facebook Login” (or “Data deletion” if Facebook Login does not apply).
A. Support ticket (client portal)
Open a ticket in the client portal: Open a support ticket.
B. Email
Write to support@crservers.com with the subject “Data deletion / Facebook Login”.
C. Contact form
Submit the form on our Contact page with the same subject and your account email.
Include your CR Servers account email so we can locate and verify the correct account before processing the request.
4. Optional: remove the app from Facebook
You may also revoke Facebook Login access from your Facebook account settings. This stops future logins via Facebook; it does not by itself delete account or service records held by CR Servers—use the portal delete flow or a support request if you want those removed.
Open Facebook Settings → Apps and websites.
Find and select “CR Servers Login”.
Remove the app / revoke access.
After unlinking, you can still access the portal with your CR Servers username and password (or another configured sign-in method), unless the account is already pending removal or closed.
5. What happens after you confirm
After a confirmed deletion request (self-serve or via support), the account is marked for removal. You will not be able to sign in while the account is pending removal. A configured delay may apply before final processing, which allows time to reverse an accidental request by contacting support.
When retention rules allow a full removal, the portal account and related service records are deleted through HostBill’s client deletion process.
When billing, tax, or other retention requirements still apply, personal data that is not required for invoices may be anonymized instead of fully wiped, while necessary billing records are kept for the required period.
Support-handled requests may also require identity verification (for example, confirming control of the account email) before staff complete deletion in HostBill.
Some information may be retained where required by law, billing, tax, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution obligations. When retention applies, we limit use to those purposes and delete or anonymize data when the retention period ends. See our Privacy Policy for the broader practices.
