You are leaving CR Servers to complete registration with NIC Costa Rica. You will be the legal owner (titular) of the domain. CR Servers does not sell .cr registration — we help with hosting, DNS, and support after you register.
Register at dominios.cr (NIC). Sector TLDs may require extra documentation.
Open dominios.cr and create a NIC account with a working email (required before checkout).
Search for your domain, add it to the cart, and complete titular (owner) data plus administrative, technical, and billing contacts.
When asked for nameservers, enter at least two CR Servers nameservers below if you will use our hosting or email — the domain stays inactive until DNS is set.
Pay NIC directly at checkout (fees and IVA shown there). Then order web hosting or VPS from CR Servers if you still need it.
NIC requires at least two nameservers before your .cr domain becomes active. Enter these during checkout or later under Panel de control → Servidores DNS on dominios.cr.
