Access your dedicated server with SSH
Connect to your CR Servers dedicated server over SSH with the IP, username, and key or password from your welcome details.
Dedicated servers include SSH so you manage the operating system yourself (or with our guidance).
Steps
- Find the public IP and SSH user in the client area or the welcome email.
- On macOS or Linux:
ssh user@YOUR.IP.ADDRESS - On Windows: use Windows Terminal, or PuTTY with the same IP and user.
- Prefer SSH keys over passwords when possible.
If SSH does not connect
Confirm the IP has not changed and that your key is the one installed on the server. If the host is up but SSH still fails, open a ticket and ask for a console check.
