AI Connect: Update Your Site with ChatGPT or Claude

AI Connect lets you ask your AI assistant (ChatGPT or Claude) to update your website on CR Servers. You describe the change in the chat, check a preview, and confirm. If you don't like it, you undo it with one sentence.

AI Connect is in pilot. It's included with CR Servers shared hosting.

How it works

1. Connect your assistant. Add CR Servers AI Connect in ChatGPT or Claude (see how).
2. Authorize in your client area. Sign in to the CR Servers client area as usual and choose which site the assistant may work on. Your password never goes through the assistant.
3. Ask for the change. For example: "Change the price of the 1,000 m² lot to $45,000 and add this photo." The assistant prepares a draft; your site doesn't change yet.
4. Check the preview. The assistant gives you a private link that shows the site as it would look. The link expires after an hour.
5. Confirm. The assistant publishes only after you confirm.
6. Undo if needed. Say "undo the last change" and the site goes back to how it was.

What the assistant can do

• Read your site's files and propose changes to text, prices, images, styles and pages.
• Add photos and other files from a public link (for example, a shared Google Drive or Dropbox file).
• Publish the draft once you confirm, and undo any of the last 5 publishes.

What it can't do

• See or change your email, DNS, databases, SSL certificates or billing.
• Touch sites you didn't connect. Each connection works on one site: the main domain of the hosting service you chose. If you have several services, connect each one.
• Upload server-side code (PHP), .htaccess or hidden files. Contact forms are installed by CR Servers.
• Publish without your confirmation in the chat. If you prefer, you can also require your approval in the browser for every publish (see how).

Security

• You decide who has access. In the client area, AI Connect shows which assistants are connected and lets you remove their access at any time.
• Everything is logged. Every draft, publish and undo appears in the site's activity, with the assistant that did it.
• It won't overwrite other people's changes. If someone changed a file over FTP or the file manager in the meantime, the assistant won't publish over that change.
• Site content can't give orders. The assistant treats the text on your pages as data, not as instructions.

FAQ

Does it cost extra? No. AI Connect is included with your shared hosting plan. You need your own ChatGPT or Claude account.

Can I use it with several sites? Yes. Each connection works on one site: if you have several hosting services, connect the assistant to each one. In the client area, AI Connect lists all your sites.

What about extra domains in my plan? For now, AI Connect works with the main domain of each hosting service. Additional domains in the same plan are on our roadmap.

Does it work with WordPress? Not yet. AI Connect works with file-based sites (HTML, CSS, images). If your site runs WordPress, contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.

What happens if my hosting service is suspended? AI publishing pauses automatically and resumes when the service is reactivated. In the meantime, you can remove assistants' access from the client area.

Can I use it from my phone? Yes, from the ChatGPT and Claude apps once you're connected.
