Create and manage email accounts
Create a mailbox in the hosting control panel, set a password and quota, then change, suspend, or delete the account.
A mailbox is an inbox with its own password and storage on our mail servers. An alias only forwards to another address — it has no login.
This article is for mail that still uses CR Servers mailboxes. If Google Workspace handles mail, use Google Mail as your mail server instead — do not create panel mailboxes that fight Google’s MX.
Create a mailbox
- Open the hosting control panel from the client area.
- Open Email → accounts / mailboxes.
- Enter the local part (
you) and the domain. - Set a strong password. If the panel shows a quota, set it (or leave the plan default).
- Save. The address is
you@your-domain.
Then connect the mailbox with IMAP / POP3 or Outlook. For a quick browser check, use webmail.
Change the password
Edit the mailbox in the same list and set a new password. Existing IMAP and webmail sessions will need the new password. The client-area login does not change.
Suspend or delete
Suspend a mailbox you want to keep but take offline. Delete one you no longer need — that removes stored mail on the server. Deleting a mailbox does not delete aliases that pointed at it; update or remove those forwarders too.
Open a ticket if the domain is missing from the list or mail never arrives after DNS has propagated.
