Hosting control panel overview
What you manage in the shared hosting control panel: sites, email, DNS, databases, and backups.
Shared web hosting includes a hosting control panel for day-to-day technical work. Billing and tickets stay in the client area.
Open the panel
- Log in to the client area.
- Open your hosting service.
- Follow the control panel login link. Use the panel username/password from the activation email (not necessarily the same as the client-area password).
Common tasks

Preview before DNS cutover
Use temporary domain access to test on the server IP before switching nameservers.
SSL
Most shared sites can enable HTTPS from the panel without a separate certificate purchase. See SSL and dedicated IP.
If a menu item is missing on your plan, open a ticket with the domain and what you need to do.
