Manage AI Connect in the Client Area
See which AI assistants can access your site, remove their access, review activity, and require your approval for every publish.
In the CR Servers client area, AI Connect (in the sidebar, under Billing) brings together everything about the AI assistants connected to your sites. You'll also find it in the menu of each supported hosting service.
See Which Assistants Have Access
- Open AI Connect and click Manage next to the site.
- Connected assistants lists each connection: the assistant (ChatGPT or Claude), its permission, when it was connected and when it was last used.
Every time someone connects an assistant, a new connection is created, so it's normal to see more than one if you connected from several devices or accounts.
Remove Access
Click Remove access next to a connection, or Remove access for all. The assistant immediately loses access to the site. To use it again, connect it again from ChatGPT or Claude.
Remove access for any connection you don't recognize, if a device was lost, or if someone who used it no longer works with you.
Disconnecting the app inside ChatGPT or Claude makes that app forget the connection, but Remove access in the client area is the reliable way to close it for good.
Approve Every Publish
By default, the assistant publishes once you confirm in the chat. If you want an extra step, turn on Approve every publish:
- Whenever the assistant wants to publish, it gives you a link.
- Open the link, sign in to the client area, check the files and the preview, and choose Publish or Don't publish.
- If the draft changed after approval was requested, nothing is published and the assistant has to ask again.
It's useful when several people use the assistant, or when you want to review each change on a bigger screen.
Review Activity
Recent activity shows drafts, publishes, undos, approvals, removed access and settings changes, with the date and who did it. If you see a publish you don't recognize, ask the assistant to undo it and remove that connection's access.
Suspended Service
If the hosting service is suspended, AI publishing pauses: the assistant can't read or change the site, and the page says so. It resumes on its own when the service is reactivated.
While the service is suspended, AI Connect stays available in the client area (the site shows as Suspended). You can see connections and activity, and remove access for any assistant. What you can't do is connect a new assistant until the service is reactivated.
